Social Media with Holly Homer, Troy Sandidge & May King Tsang

Social Media with Holly Homer, Troy Sandidge & May King Tsang

On this episode of #GoalChat, host Debra Eckerling puts the social back in social media with Holly Homer, Troy Sandidge, and May King Tsang. Holly is co-founder of Pagewheel; Troy is a growth strategist and podcaster, and May King is the original FOMO creator. The panel talks about the evolution and challenges of social media, along with ways to be more authentic, personal, and engaged. Whether you're an entrepreneur looking to spice up your social media game or a consultant seeking ways to connect more authentically with your audience, there's a wealth of knowledge here for you.

    Goals

Troy: Look at your platform of choice, find someone you haven't talked to in a while. Share one of their posts, along with your thoughts. Amazing conversations will happen

May King: Brag; shout about your achievements, and include the backstory

    Holly: Grow your email list

Deb's Bonus Goal: Message friends, just to say, "Hi, How are you?" They will be as happy to hear from you as you are to reconnect with them

    Final Thoughts

Holly: Social media is not rocket science. It is one foot in front of the other. Trust your heart. It's telling you where to go

May King: Hang out with awesome people like Debra, Holly, Troy, and myself. You can never hang out with enough awesome people.

Troy: Grow your social using non-traditional ways. Meet people outside of the social bubble: have conversations, do things, and build that relationship equity outside of social. Then, when you get back on social, you have photos and things to talk about; maybe other things will happen beyond that too.

Showcasing Yourself with Heather Eck, Kat Neff & Viveka von Rosen

Showcasing Yourself with Heather Eck, Kat Neff & Viveka von Rosen

On this episode of GoalChat, host Debra Eckerling talks about Showcasing Yourself with artist Heather Eck, senior publicist Kat Neff (Llewelyn), and post-executive coach for women Viveka von Rosen (Beyond the Dream Board). It's the perfect way to wrap up Women's History Month. Everyone gets caught up in all of life's challenges, obligations, and routines. When you pause, re-evaluate your reason for being, and practice kindness, you set the stage to showcase yourself ... and everyone benefits

Heather, Kat, and Viveka share their backstories and the value of embracing your unique talents, along with what stops people from owning their path, ways to get started, and more.

    Goals

    - Heather: Choose a color that you really love, that you're attracted to, and that makes you feel good; wear it and notice how you feel about it. And then also choose a color that you wouldn't typically go for and put that on this week too. Pay attention, slow down or stop, and notice what's happening for you when you put that color on.
    - Kat: Do something good for yourself - something that makes you feel special - every single day
    - Viv: Your audience needs to hear from you; get on camera

    Final Thoughts
    - Heather: Everyday, look for the things that make you feel open and full of possibility
    - Kat: Be kind to yourself and be kind to the people around you; never miss an opportunity to do something kind
    - Viv: We come from a paradigm of struggle and that you have to struggle in order to succeed. What if it was easy? What if we just tapped into our intuition, we trusted the universe, we acted from love and everything we ever could have dreamed of, plus way, way more, was presented to us. Trust your intuition and lead from the heart, because the universe has your back

Love Having Multiple Guests per Episode!

I really enjoy the format of Deb's show where she invites multiple guests who share the same field of expertise. The guests build on each other's ideas, which leads to a more meaningful conversation compared to having just one guest.

Deb does an excellent job of guiding the dialogue, allowing each guest to share their insights in a way that is beneficial to the listener.

I appreciate the variety of guests and topics Deb covers, which keeps the show fresh and engaging. I highly recommend tuning in!

Excellent conversations … better inspiration

I really enjoy listening to these conversations. Not only does Deb bring really insightful people to the table, but the topics are much less in the weeds of how-to business stuff and more inspirational and motivational to bring bigger ideas to the table. And she does that while still being very business oriented.

The productivity elements are outstanding, too. Just a good all-around listen for multiple reasons.
