Much needed podcast!
I had the honor of meeting Debbie Gonzalez at a friend’s birthday party a few years ago - and what a blessing! Debbie is a fire-starter who is digging into an amazing niche of girls, athletes, and authors. To create real social change, we need to change our narratives and begin telling new stories about the heroes in our world.
Through her book and podcast, Debbie is connecting men, women, daughters, brothers, fathers, and mothers with female figures that anyone can look up to and learn from!
I highly recommend this podcast AND Debbie’s book, Girls with Guts!
Amazing author and educator
Debbie has an amazing story and her books are important messages for women and girls. Her Girls with Guts book is a must-read with my nieces.
This stuff is important!
I’m loving listening to these stories of resilience, empowerment, and fun! As a woman athlete, spirts have played a huge role in my life, and it’s both exciting & important to hear the ways playing (or not being able to play) sports affects women. It’s great to have THOSE stories in one place. Deb is clearly doing her research to find the women to tell the stories!
