Why is death so scary to people?
We know that death is a part of life. It is that one, last great adventure that we all get to go on at some point in this human experience. Its inevitability doesn't make it any easier to lose ones that we love, and definitely doesn’t make the mystery of death any easier to comprehend. But for some, the fact that we are all going to die actually invites them to live a more purposeful life.
Branden Collinsworth is one of those people. This week I had a conversation about life and death with a friend, coach, mentor, speaker, and founder of Warrior Retreats, who recently experienced the loss of his mother; and has some pretty amazing insights on this topic because of it.
On this episode we talk about:
- Brandens perspective on death after losing his mother.
- Can finding meaning in life be a crutch?
- How to go all in and still keep the balance of Yin and Yang.
- What death can actually teach you about living.
