Each week our hosts take a ‘deep dive’ into a wide range of topics such as, motherhood and family, feminism, Meghan Markle, sh*t they put on their faces, and whether or not to buy a crystal because it’s on sale. The Deep Dive captures two friends trying to survive adult womanhood.

Illegal Serves
Smudged eyeliner, illegal serves and husbands are once again lurking, but that doesn’t stop Jessica and June from rejecting the “back to school” rush. Then, the gals chat sleepovers and summer camp. Jessica is still planning on a Pickleball summer and regales us with tales of her Hugh Grant haircut. Then, June and Jessica announce the winners of the In Pickleball Magazine giveaway. Remember Deep Divers, this is (un)fortunately a Pickleball podcast now.

I Am An Adult Woman
This week we learn there's no more taking to the woods and when it’s time to go, it’s time to GO. June offers that it’s time to invest in the right now and the people around you, and yes, that means Pickleball. Then, the gals discuss the danger of "doing too much," going all out for their kid's birthday parties, and the photo leak heard around the ‘gram. Finally, Jessica catches up on all the free stuff she’s getting (and not sharing with June), and she gives us a manicure hack you can actually trust. Deep Divers, please remember, don’t stay too long and don’t do too much and when all else fails, look to the title for the lesson!

What Happens In Vegas w/ Erica Oyama
This week, Jessica is consulting elders, and June shares a spine-tingling tale about Las Vegas on a (*shudders*) Wednesday and the portals to other worlds that were opened. Then, Emmy-Nominated creator and writer Erica Oyama (Burning Love, Never Have I Ever) is freshly “bronde” and joins the gals to chat about working on Burning Love together, go-to karaoke songs, her dad’s journey moving from Tokyo to Birmingham, Alabama, and “intruder syndrome.” And Deep Divers remember, if you don’t see any waves at the wave pool, RUN. CW: Pennywise is mentioned in this podcast.

Mind The Reentry
This week Jessica and June are coming in HOT but they’re cooling off at reentry. Jessica updates us on her east coast trip which includes walking angrily in the rain and consorting with locals to find out where the Martha Stewart gets her Lobsters. And June lets us know that she off-line for six days and learned to read again, and yes, her Pickleball Summer is continuing. Deep Divers remember, we’re all in various forms of reentry, please be safe out there.

Highlander Pubes
This week, Jessica explains why she had to "bug out" and is now broadcasting from her dad's office. Then, June reveals she made the bold move to install a pickleball court in her backyard and Jessica deems this is the summer of F-U-N! The ladies go deep about “needing to trim around the edges” and debate whether to wax or laser, agreeing only that you need to do whatever you have to do so you can take those shorts off and get in that water. Deep Divers, remember, you can always make and become your own lore!

Helping me through a really hard time!
I am going through a really hard time at home and this podcast helps to fill the silence and makes me laugh out loud every single episode! I love June and Jessica, they are the kind of friends I want to have. The only bad thing is that I skip through the ending theme song every time because I literally can’t listen to the off-key overdub; it makes me extremely irrationally angry. Just listened to the episode about being an HSP and I came to the conclusion that I am an HSP just based on that song at the end and my negative systemic reaction to it.
The Usual
June whispers. Jess is perplexed. 5 stars!
Adore
Honestly, I could just listen about your guys’ lives: this podcast flies by!
