    After arriving at Bahia in Brazil, Captain FitzRoy reacquaints himself with an old college friend, who enrages Darwin by introducing them to a local slave owner. During their stay the crew unwittingly discover the dangers of the local carnival, get lost in a jungle, and conduct a very flawed survey.

this is the podcast i've been waiting for but didn't know i needed. this is what audio was designed to do and these folks know how to use it to its fullest. well done! very well done indeed!! and now that we've left Plymouth i am along for the whole journey.
