THE Quintessential Disney Podcast

Granted I’m a new listener but a lifelong Disney fan and this podcast is everything...it takes a love and turns it to an informed passion. The beast that is Disney, and specifically the parks themselves, is without a question one of the most interesting topics in modern recorded history, and this podcast only reinforces that. Don’t believe me? I dare you to listen to Jim and Len and come up with another subject that combines imagination, business and history all into one entity...it’s what makes the subject of Disney so unique and in large part what makes this podcast so awesome. The nature of Disney itself, allows Jim and Len to discuss even the seemingly most mundane topics like an earnings call, in a story-like manor that draws listeners in. To put it simply, Jim and Len’s ability to execute excellent informative story telling every Shmursday, combined with the unique nature of Disney itself, is a podcasting match made in heaven!

Nothing Better

The best Disney Parks Podcast period. I have no idea how Jim can tell so many amazing Disney stories. And how Len can come up with so many witty responses.

All Crepe Eaters Are Welcome Here

Dear Len,

For the love of Oprah, *please* allow your invited guests to answer questions themselves. Each time you asked Christina Harrison a question, you answered it more than she did. You spoke over her almost every time. “Christina, you ordered the prix fixe as well, right?” “I did not. I ha-” “Jim, let me just say, she had two sweet crepes and…” [proceeds to man-splain for Christina what she ordered] I get it, you were excited and that’s cool, but the pattern got really annoying. You don’t strike me as the kind of boor who intentionally dominates a conversation and silences people, but boy you sure did in this episode. I turned it off before the 25 minute mark because I couldn’t take it anymore. I hope you can be more generous with your guests so we can enjoy why you invited them in the first place. Also, because crepes are awesome. Hugs, a Devoted Listener Fan-person
