Fabulous! 5 stars all the way!
I am a Family Physician by training who had grown stagnant in the search for non-clinical jobs and this podcast is exactly what I needed to relight the fire and provide direction to me for noving forward! I met Dr. Fork back at a SEAK conference in 2019 and she is insightful, honest and simply the best out there. So appreciative of her and the advice she pours out in these episodes every week! Definitely worth a listen… or 200! Thanks Dr. Fork!
#114 Medical Affairs in Pharma
I am about to start a Senior Director of Medical Affairs position in a biotech company and have been struggling explaining my new position. This was so helpful and will definitely help demystify the role. Dr. Ponder-Schenck is well-spoken and clearly passionate about her job. Thank you so much for sharing.
Great resource
This is a great resource, Dr Fork is a fantastic interviewer. Her guests are very knowledgeable and cover a wide range of non clinical career options, many of them I did not even know existed. Every episode touches on important topics like ways to get into a particular field, long term fit, what the day to day involves and compensation. It was very reassuring and empowering to hear other doctors’ stories. Thank you Dr Fork and all your guests for so generously providing all this information and advice!
