They expound upon the horrifying realities of the carceral state, including the underlying incentive to put more bodies in prison to generate corporate profit, the systemic dehumanization and mistreatment of those incarcerated, two party corporate duopoly complicity, overt overrepresentation of marginalized groups within prisons, media mischaracterization and outright ignoring of the prison industrial complex, and reading recommendations germane to this important issue.
