It all starts with the acknowledgement of an issue. [Beauty standards have led to the extent of forcing oneself to change who one truly is in order to please the expectations of the “ideal” considered by one’s own society.] This podcast stresses the conflicts that the individuals from Latin American Societies struggle with, to find who they are and what they want their physical appearance to look like writhing their beauty standards, from the point of view of a Latin American,myself, who understand their situational conflict. From my view, knowledge, and experiences, others will acknowledge the concern for Latin Americans who are constantly trying to meet the standards.
