Excellent podcast with thoughtfulness and depth. Admittedly, I have to chuckle at times the great length Eisman and the research shop analyst go to give Trump the benefit of the doubt with his many objectives, but from an analysis standpoint, it’s actually helpful to review everything going on through that lens. Here’s to hoping the various players behave logically . . . which essentially is Eisman’s thesis: although the merits of this trade war can be debated, setting that aside, there’s a “win” in this for the United States since the US has comparatively less to lose than other nation states. We just have to hope politicians don’t politic (good luck to us).
