In this episode, we’re diving into journaling and how it can bring more clarity, joy, and peace into your daily life. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just getting started, we’re sharing insights on how journaling can easily fit into your routine. We kick things off by chatting about our Season 2 premiere guest, Jessie Daypuck, and her guided journal, Me, Myself and Motherhood, which offers a perfect starting point for busy moms looking to incorporate journaling into their lives. We also explore some helpful apps that remind you to journal right from your phone. Whether it’s jotting down thoughts about your kids, your morning coffee, or even what you’re eating, these apps make journaling quick and accessible. Chauntelle uses the “Day One Journal” app and suggests starting with gratitude if you’re unsure where to begin. Writing down what you’re thankful for can set a positive tone for the day ahead. Alex also draws inspiration from a past Season 1 guest, Virginia from Acre75, who keeps a “Glimmer Journal,” recording the small, joyful moments—or "glimmers"—that bring her joy or give her goosebumps. Flourishing with Fernhill: Building a Business Around Flowers, Design, and Community

In this episode, we’re excited to chat with Katlin Sumner, the founder and owner of Fernhill Flower & Design Co., based in Ilderton, Ontario. Katlin’s story is one of transformation, resilience, and following your passion—even when it takes you down an unexpected path. She originally pursued a career in criminology and worked at a real estate law office, but quickly realized the stress of the job was taking a toll on her health. Ten years ago, she made the bold decision to launch her own interior design business, and a part-time job at a flower shop soon ignited her love for floral design. Before long, Fernhill Flower & Design Co. was born. By blending her passion for both flowers and interior design, Katlin has created a business that feels like an extension of her soul. She shares how the floral business provides more financial consistency than interior design, allowing her to create repeatable systems, unlike the highly customized nature of interior design. Because of this, she’s able to combine the two, doing what she loves and having two streams of income wrapped into one business. We also get a glimpse into her personal style, which is a beautiful mix of antiques and clean, crisp design—perfectly fitting for the charming old church where Fernhill is located. This renovated Baptist church, nestled on a dirt road “in the middle of nowhere,” holds special meaning for Katlin. Her dad always believed it would be the perfect space for her, and after his passing a few years ago, the opportunity to bring his vision to life presented itself. In addition to running her flower shop, Katlin has brought the church back to its roots as a community hub by hosting events like markets and open houses, bringing people together just as it did in its former life. She’s passionate about fostering a sense of community in her business and creating a “win-win” environment where everyone feels supported. For Katlin, it’s all about abundance and helping others succeed—a true believer in community over competition. We also dive into what life has been like for Katlin as a mother of two while managing her business. She reflects on the different stages of her career, the role her family has played, and how she’s managed to juggle it all with the support of her husband and their parents. Katlin is refreshingly honest about the lack of balance in life and how some days are just plain difficult. She speaks candidly about the mom guilt that comes with juggling work and family life, especially when it comes to getting kids involved in extracurricular activities. But she’s learned to give herself grace, recognizing that everyone is doing their best. Katlin’s journey is inspiring for anyone navigating the ups and downs of business and parenthood. With a strong community behind her and a clear passion for what she does, Katlin is proof that you can create a business and a life you love, even if it looks a little different than you originally planned. Find Katlin on Instagram or Facebook @fernhillfloraldesignco for all things floral, interior design, and event/photo rental space, and tune in to get inspired by Katlin’s story of resilience, creativity, and community-building!

High-Ticket Mastery: Create 6-Figure Days with Anita Anello

In this episode, we bring you what feels like a personal masterclass with the incredible Anita Anello, founder of The Ripple Effect and coach for elite entrepreneurs. With over 20 years of experience as a consultant and several life-changing events behind her, Anita made a bold move to leave the corporate world and build her own business, which is now growing into a $10 million empire! As a homeschooling mom and powerhouse coach, Anita’s energy is magnetic, and she’s here to inspire you to turn your “God-sized” ideas into reality. Anita works with visionaries who have big dreams, helping them craft high-ticket offers that not only attract high-ticket buyers but also enable them to earn their annual salary in just a month—or even a day! She shares her insights on creating offers above $10k and building a repeatable system around the unique pillars of your business, so you can achieve both time and money freedom. One of her key points? A high-ticket buyer doesn’t trust a price that’s too low—they’re looking for value and proximity to greatness, and Anita shows you exactly how to deliver on that promise. She also dives into the mindset shifts needed to embrace this level of success. Anita explores the limiting beliefs that often hold entrepreneurs back, particularly around time and money freedom. When it comes to pricing your services, she makes it clear: you’re not charging based on your worth—you’re charging based on the client’s worth and the value they’ll receive. Anita emphasizes the importance of taking the right steps in the right order, pursuing the right goals, and staying aligned with your vision. She believes that joy in your business isn’t just about personal satisfaction—it’s about modeling that joy for your children and showing them what’s possible when you move beyond your own limiting beliefs and trust the process. Throughout the conversation, Anita drops gems of wisdom from some of her favorite thought leaders. She quotes Russell Brunson, reminding us that “people who PAY pay attention,” underscoring the value of investing in yourself and your growth. She also references Brendon Burchard, who says, “Your internal insecurities aren’t market reality,” a powerful reminder to push past self-doubt and recognize the abundance of opportunities available to everyone. Alex, Chauntelle, and Anita also tackle the topic of lack and poverty mentality, discussing how to break free from these limiting mindsets and embrace the belief that there’s enough success and opportunity to go around for everyone. They encourage listeners to start investing in coaches who align with their goals and values because, ultimately, the best investment you can make is in yourself. This episode is packed with actionable insights and empowering messages for anyone looking to elevate their business and mindset. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to scale, Anita’s approach to high-ticket offers and mindset mastery will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take bold action. Level Up in 2025: Why Investing in a Coach Means Investing in Yourself

In today’s episode, Alex and Chauntelle are diving into a topic that has them fired up: the value of investing in a coach! Fresh off a call with the amazing Anita Anello, they’re eager to share why having a coach can be a game-changer for both your personal and professional growth. Finding the right coach is key—someone who aligns with your values, understands your goals, and challenges you to step up your game. Not all coaches are created equally, so it’s essential to do your research and find the right fit for you. Investing in a coach is really about investing in yourself. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and put your own development on the back burner, but making this a priority for 2025 can be transformative. Alex and Chauntelle talk about setting the intention to focus on self-growth and using a coach as a guide to unlock your potential and take your business to the next level. They also discuss the concept of “shelf knowledge”—all those books you’ve read, courses you’ve taken, and seminars you’ve attended, only to leave the knowledge collecting dust on a mental shelf. The key is to implement what you’ve learned, and that’s where a coach can come in. They can help you turn those insights into action, creating tangible results in your business and life. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure of how to get to the next level, a coach might be exactly what you need to break through those barriers. It’s not just about having someone to cheer you on; it’s about having someone who can offer perspective, strategies, and accountability. As Alex and Chauntelle share their own experiences, they make it clear that a good coach isn’t a luxury—it’s a powerful investment in your future. They also refer to a must-read book for anyone looking to up their financial game: You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero. It’s all about shifting your mindset around money and empowering you to reach new heights in your business. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to scale, this book has some fantastic insights to help you make bold moves and embrace your worth. Join Alex and Chauntelle for an inspiring conversation on why coaching matters, how to find the right one for you, and how to move beyond “shelf knowledge” to start making real progress toward your goals. ChatGPT 101: Practical Tips to Save You Time & Energy Using AI

In this special episode, Alex and Chauntelle explore a topic a bit more technical than their norm: ChatGPT and the growing influence of AI in business. While they admit they're not experts, they’ve been using ChatGPT for the past year and a half and are excited to share their experiences, tips, and insights on how AI can save you time and energy. From writing product descriptions to drafting emails, creating social media content, and even designing event graphics, they explore the endless possibilities that AI offers to streamline your workflow. They give practical advice on how to manipulate ChatGPT to produce the best results for your business and emphasize the importance of editing AI-generated content to make it sound authentic and aligned with your voice. (A fun insight they share: ChatGPT tends to overuse words like “delightful” and “delve,” which can make it obvious when content hasn’t been tweaked). Their tip? Edit what ChatGPT gives you, and then plug it right back into the tool to refine it further. Over time, you’ll teach AI to better mimic your unique style. The episode also highlights a lesser known AI tool, Canva’s AI feature, which can create graphics and visuals based purely on your ideas. Whether you're stuck at the start of a project or need a framework to build upon, ChatGPT can be a great brainstorming partner! Of course, Chauntelle and Alex don’t shy away from discussing the potential downsides of ChatGPT too. They talk about AI's current limitations, why it’s not something you can rely on fully just yet, and how it might affect certain industries. But they also explore how to adapt and grow with AI, offering ways to embrace these tools as part of an ever-evolving business strategy. Tune in to learn how to leverage ChatGPT and AI to work smarter, not harder, and take your business to the next level! The Power of Intentional Dreaming: Building a Life Aligned with Your Values

In today’s episode, Alex and Chauntelle dive into the power of dreaming big and how it can transform your life and business. They explore why it’s crucial to carve out time to dream, emphasizing that dreaming is a key part of working ON your business, not just in it. By finding moments of quiet, you can reconnect with what you truly want and set the foundation for meaningful growth. Alex and Chauntelle also highlight the importance of teaching your kids to dream big, fostering the belief that anything is possible. They share the idea of partnering with someone to dream together on a quarterly basis, keeping the excitement and passion alive in your business. The conversation touches on the concept of "self-first," a term they borrowed from their friend Vlatka of Mom Xperience. Focusing on yourself isn’t selfish; it’s about prioritizing your well-being so you can better serve others. Alex and Chauntelle encourage filling various buckets in your life—like business, finances, family, health, self-care, and giving back—with dreams and intentions that resonate with your core values. To help turn these dreams into actionable goals, they recommend the book The 12 Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington, a resource that can guide you in setting and achieving your objectives on a quarterly basis. Walking Your Own Path: Zannah Brown on Success, Self-Care, and Authenticity

In today’s episode, we’re joined by our dear friend, fellow Keller Williams realtor, and mentor, Zannah Brown. Zannah’s journey is a testament to the power of following your heart, doing what feels right, and pursuing your passions, rather than getting caught up in what everyone else is doing. She reminds us that success doesn’t come from imitating others but from staying true to what you genuinely love and align with. It’s easy to lose sight of this as we navigate life, but Zannah encourages us to rediscover that belief in ourselves and to pursue our own dreams and goals. We explore the significance of surrounding yourself with the right people and emphasize the value of finding YOUR people—those who support you and hold you accountable. Zannah’s story is as inspiring as it is relatable. She opens up about her decision to immigrate to London, ON, from England with her young daughters and how she transitioned into a career in real estate. Zannah stresses the importance of saying no to things that don’t align with your values and not letting busyness become a distraction from the deeper work within yourself. Her experience highlights the need for balance, self-awareness, and the courage to prioritize your personal well-being. We also get a glimpse into Zannah’s upcoming trip to Italy, a journey that is as much about personal discovery as it is about exploring new places. She shares how walking has been a form of healing for her and how simple moments of quiet, like sitting with a cup of tea, have brought her peace. Zannah’s story is one of self-love and authenticity—learning to say “I am loved” without hesitation. She encourages us all to embrace our true selves, not because we feel we should, but because it’s who we are at our core. Join us for this heartfelt conversation with Zannah, filled with insights on self-belief, the importance of foundation, and the beauty of living authentically. We also chat about some great reads that have inspired us all, including Believe IT by Jamie Kern Lima, The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer, and The Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan.
