John Ryan was a two sport standout (soccer & lacrosse) D1 Athlete at Army, before serving and receiving a bronze star. His brief stint as a professional athlete was with the Long Island Lizards of the Major League Lacrosse back in 2008 (now the PLL). Although his pro days are over, he continues to play, even serving as team captain for Irelands National Team at the World Lacrosse Championships, while also training for ultra running events.
