So Flipping Good!

So flipping good!! I really enjoyed this and had lots of "ah-ha" moments.

When Pete gave the example of a kid misreading and then prompting him to spell it out loud and then talking about how they spell the word differently, but yet they were the same letters but the way Pete said it encouraged the reader to notice a prefix! Love that!

It also made me realize that may be why some kids have success with the Spell Read program done by the Davis Method.

Very interesting! Can't wait to crawl around his site and discover

Fine descriptions of effective interventions for problems with executive functioning.

Pamm provides an excellent demonstration of what a very good wholistic therapist can do: She integrates physical, psychological, and neuropsychological information to provide practical solutions to problems with executive functioning. She does this with a teenage population, including people with ADHD, and she does it with a sense of humor. Bravo!
