On the way to being driven to achieve something we can often pick up misleading ideas.

One of these ideas for me was that I needed to be special in order to matter.

This is one example of what I call Gremlins - The inner thoughts that can play on repeat and ultimately hold us back.

I spent a good amount of time trying to prove myself and always seeking validation from outside of myself, visiting burnout and suffering with health problems as a result.
