Your friends and family expect you to bring your camera to birthday parties and holiday dinners. You pick up your camera before the broom when your kids spill flour all over the kitchen floor. You're the family photographer. Every other week, I share my conversations with photographers about their work and their families. How can we take better photos of our family life? Why are we taking all these photos in the first place?

Only through episode 1 and it shook me to my core

This podcast was just recommended to me by a fellow photographer when I mentioned to her I was obsessed with documentary family photography. I suddenly knew this is where I wanted to take my business and episode one spoke so clearly to me! I was brought to tears by Kate Densmore’s “why”. As a Mom I felt like she was articulating everything I couldn’t about why I want to document my life with my kids. Just a truly amazing podcast that I know will teach me so much. Thank you thank you!

I love this podcast

I listen to podcasts while I go on walks. In the case of this podcast it’s like going on a walk with good friends who love taking photos of their family as much as I do. And I am so happy they let me in on their conversation.

Always relatable, always enjoyable, always inspiring. Jenny thanks so much for returning early! What a treat when I went to listen to a podcast and saw your latest one.
