The Mummy, Martha, and Me
One of the sexiest fantasy adventure movies to ever roam the lands, The Mummy (1999), is the topic for Episode 44. And whose choice was this movie, other than my good friend Martha! Our friendship is displayed for all who listens as we just bounce off of each other's energy in discussing this cult favorite. There are a few spoilers, but mainly it's just us having lots of fun! Biting into Feminist Horror
Womanhood and werewolf transformations: who knew these subjects could work together to tell a scarily accurate depiction of what it's like to be a girl coming of age? The answer is director John Fawcett and writer Karen Walton, in the 2000 Canadian horror-fantasy film, Ginger Snaps. Bite into this flick with myself, Shandra, and special guest host Kim, in Episode 43!

...of course you are! And I'm recording with you! 🧍♀️🎙️🧍♂️
In Episode 42, Louis returns as special guest host to discuss the most important bond of The Lord of the Rings trilogy: the friendship of Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee. Together we talk about the good, the bad, and the complicated personality traits of both characters, and what makes them the ultimate fantasy fictional friendship.

Unveiling Excalibur
In Episode 40, I am joined by my community friend and past Uni film professor, Rai (@rgenna). As special guest host he chose to discuss John Boorman’s Excalibur from 1981 which is an absolute must-see fantasy film! A bit of a longer episode because we fanned so hard about so much more than just Excalibur. Enjoy! Shares, downloads, and rating the podcast is always appreciated!

Reclaiming Masculinity
I'm taking it back to the OG topic for this podcast: The Lord of the Rings! My friend Chris joins me on the 39th episode of The Fellowship of the Mic. And special guest host's choice? Positive masculinity in Tolkien's works with emphasis on the character Aragorn. We had a really fun time discussing this, and I was super happy to be back in my element discussing LOTR. Enjoy!
