The Fine Line: Where Conspiracy Has Lease

The Fine Line: Where Conspiracy Has Lease

In our new episode, Steven discusses the giant hypocrisy of the American heritage argument regarding the Confederate monuments. Why claiming those represent our heritage is false and spits in the face of the country they claim to hold dear. Also, conspiracy theories having been running rampant in recent years, and we look into why. They breakdown within that world and why they correlate to those wanting to save those Confederate monuments.

The Fine Line Rewind: Truth Isn't Truth

The Fine Line Rewind: Truth Isn't Truth

While I’m working on a new episode, I came across some things happening that I’ve talked about before. The NFL apologized for demonizing player protest (without mentioning one by name), and Trump (and police organizations) denial of what we see on videos. This reminded me of an episode I did in 2018 about this subject. It was my first attempt at doing this podcast.

Instead of retelling this whole thing, I decided that I will release it as a rewind episode. It has everything that I said then and I still believe. I did enjoy the format that I had originally created, so I may try that again. We will see next week. Enjoy The Fine Line Rewind: Truth Isn’t Truth.

The Fine Line: Stop Saying All Lives Matter

The Fine Line: Stop Saying All Lives Matter

This episode is going to be of me speaking my views. Speaking about the issues that are plaguing our society. Not just from the government level, but from the people. This ideology of one side fits all. It doesn’t. It never has. The society, in which, no one listens. Everyone shouts. Or, when you are quiet it is simply waiting for your turn to speak, not having listened to a word the other person said. I don’t like to usually put myself out there, but at this point – I cannot say silent any longer. The anger and frustration I feel inside needs to be voiced. Basically, it’s my turn.

The Fine Line: The Overstated Case of Bernie Sanders

The Fine Line: The Overstated Case of Bernie Sanders

Back in 2019, news reports and insiders were claiming that Bernie Sanders was the candidate to beat for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Jump ahead to March 2020, he conceded his campaign to former Vice President Joe Biden. What happened? He got a huge boost in his run back in 2016. Why did that not carry over in 2020?

My position: it was more about Hilary Clinton than it was about Bernie Sanders. Also, we get into the behind-the-scenes of the growing protests of anti-lockdown protests and the link with anti-vaxxers. Check out “The Overstated Case for Bernie Sanders”.

    The Fine Line: Pandemic

    The Fine Line: Pandemic

The first regular episode of The Fine Line focuses on the first global pandemic in recent history, “The Spanish Flu”. Many things we know about the issue are wrong, most importantly, the name. This deep dive goes into where the epidemic began, how it began to spread, and that there were more than one outbreak in over the course of an eighteen month period.

Some of the tactics we’re using today came from over 102 years ago. However, some of the same mistakes, we are making again.

New episodes will be available every Wednesday wherever you get your podcasts.
