    On this week's episode of The Fitness Solution, I have the amazing Brooke Madigan.   Brookes's amazing personal story inspired me to record my own, and that is a testament to what an inspirational person she is.   

    In this episode, we go through everything that she experienced from fad diets, having a terrible relationship with herself, the sad passing of her young father, and how all of this leads her to a path of helping others.

    My Story

    My Story

    Thank you for being here.  

    If you don't know by now I am Adam, The Gym Starter and I wanted to take this moment to do something a little bit different.  

    As it's 2021, and I have landed in Australia looking outward on my new future I am feeling very reflective and it made me want to record and talk to you about who I am and how I ended up being The Gym Starter. 

    I try not to talk about myself too much, as I have always felt it becomes self-indulgent, but I think to not share this story with you is to do you a disservice in understanding why I have my approach to how I try and help people, and hopefully guide you as your future develops.

    Straightforward Fitness with Mike Matthews

    Mike is a long-term hero of mine and to have him on the Podcast really was an awesome moment for me.

    Mike has a very straightforward, simple accessible way to view fitness and that is what we get into on this Podcast.  We discuss why he wrote  Bigger Leaner Stronger and then the subsequent follow-ups, combined with all things fitness. 

    Mike really is one of the authorities in the field, and to have the pleasure to learn from him is a blessing for myself and my career, and I really hope it will help your journey too.
