Modern perspective on ancient wisdom about Qi, the Elements, and how humans have five bodies not one.

What is Qi? An Explanation Using Science and History.

What is Qi? An Explanation Using Science and History.

The very old concept of Qi is being validated by scientific discovery.  It seems there is something that exists in the void of space that makes up 85% of the mass of the Universe.  Math and logic the modern tools of choice over ancient wisdom are baffled by what they know is there but can not see or measure.  Learn about what this going on in the “emptiness” of space and how we humans knew about this connective emptiness a very long time ago.

In this episode you will hear:

About the concepts of Qi and the Akashic Field
How historical philosophers and their viewpoints shaped we chose to look at our world years ago.
About the discovery of dark energy and it’s generative creative force.
About the vast amount of empty space we cannot observe between everything, even our own atoms and how it is points back to Qi.
How the ancients ability to understand what science is just know acknowledging is an example of the potency of an integrated  left brain and right brain.
More about the observable patterns in our world have pointed us to the truth of nature.
    Quotes:

“I love science and I can geek out and wonk out on science.” - Candace Veach

"The concept of Qi was developed by sages and seers thousands of years ago based on natural observation and on deep meditative inquiry.” - Candace Veach

“Science can’t always measure what they know is there, like with a black hole, they measure the effects . . . they know dark energy exists but they can not measure it”  - Candace Veach

“It is so subtle, and so refined, and so indescribable, that they can't get a hold on it, other than knowing that it's there, something is there.”  - Candace Veach

“And that's why the universe just keeps expanding out in every direction. Not because of a big bang, but because there's this generative creative force that is creating more of itself in a continuous fashion.” - Candace Veach

“The Qi field. The Akashic field. This is this rarified connective invisible fabric that holds everything together.” - Candace Veach

“And in the yoga tradition, there is a simple mantra that it says, ‘all that is and ever was and ever will be is That.’” - Candace Veach

"Gravity is a force that is moving and dancing with this other force, [the Generative force/Qi Field] which some are hypothesizing is sort of the counterbalance to Gravity, it's expanding things while gravity pulls things inward. And that would be a yin/yang pairing.” - Candace Veach

“But for me, I think the most pervasive pattern is the most obvious one, which is that simply wherever we look, if we look closely enough, we find this empty space that isn't actually empty.” - Candace Veach

You Have Five Bodies Not One

You Have Five Bodies Not One

In the episode you will hear more in depth about the Akashic field and how it relates to the energies that we are made up of in what is defined as the 5 Bodies. Each one of us has a pivot point that keeps 5 different energy bodies together in our personhood. When things go wrong health wise in different part of the energetic bodies, they impact the other parts as well. As science is growing towards what the ancients already understood about the energy in our bodies, we are finding that we all meet at the place that says, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

In this episode you will hear:

Thoughts about the sameness of energy that exists in the space between atoms all the way out to the dark matter in space.
About where sacred geometry is found and how we identify it.
How science is actually catching up with the ancients.
Hear about how ancient knowledge in both the Chinese culture and the Indian culture line up and differ.
What a direct transmission is and how it comes through the Akashic field.
What the 5 bodies are and how we identify them.
How the 5 bodies connect to each other and impact each other.
Why it is important to start on the densest body when starting with healing.
About the definition of Woo and how it relates to the Ying and the Yang.
About the conclusion of the mystery of the universe when it comes to the energy field and our part in it.
    Quotes:

“So it seems that science using math, logic, and finely tuned instruments, science is now recognizing what sages and seers recognized thousands of years ago - using only the very fine instrumentation that comes with the human form and consciousness.” Candace Veach

“In my healing practice, I combine the philosophy and knowledge of two major cultures, the Chinese culture and the Indian culture.” - Candace Veach

“Since that master field holds all of that knowledge in energetic form, there is a transmission that certain people that have been born with an ability or have developed ability, they can receive transmission, direct transmission, from the field of energy, knowledge and consciousness.” Candace Veach

“And that's what we need to understand about ourselves is that we are not one physical body, we are five bodies of varying degrees of subtlety, that are all interacting, and all impacting one another.” Candave Veach

“ So if something goes wrong in your physical body, if something goes out of balance in your physical body, it is going to create a ripple effect that will go across the other bodies.” - Candace Veach

“So the Chinese character for ‘human,’ if you were going to translate it out into a sentence would be,  ‘that which is between heaven and earth.’ So it was very much understood that we were a mixture of something that had come down from the refined levels of the universe, and also something that had been contributed from the physical world around us. “ - Candance Veach

“So in essence, you and all of existence are made up of five different energies that are facing and flowing in different ways.” - Candace Veach

“ A teacher of mine said that each one of us, each human, carries the blueprint of how the universe operates.” - Candace Veach

“The important thing to remember is that both methods reached the same conclusion. ‘You are wonderfully and fearfully made.’”

    The Five Elements

    The Five Elements

In previous episodes we have talked about the Qi field and how it condenses down and creates the five bodies, from the most subtle to the most dense. To recap, those bodies are identified as the spiritual body, the mental body, the emotional body, the energetic body, and then the physical body. Then, the next concept to understand is the five “Wu,” or the fives phases. Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on what happens with energy when it is here in the physical realm. The five elements -- fire, earth, metal, water and wood -- represent different phases of energy and the focus is on the relationship between phases/elements and their effects on each other. This forms the basis for Traditional Chinese Medicine’s holistic understanding of maintaining health within our five bodies.

In this episode you will hear:

How the image of the Pentagram originated in China and then traveled to the Western culture where it was misunderstood by the Church.
What the Five Phases means and how they correspond to the 5 elements.
A true definition of holistic systems thinking and how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medical system formed over thousands of years.
Some of the cross over between modern medical terms and TCM.
The definition of health as stated by TCM.
A quick nod to how organs relate within the Shen/Ko system, a very involved ecosystem where everything affects everything else.  This is why a problem in one organ system just like a problem in one of the five bodies will create a ripple effect of problems into other areas of the system.
The unique nature of joy, which is not an emotion but an emanation of your spirit.
    Quotes:

“The five elements are fire, earth, metal, water, and wood. This is an important concept, because this is what really lies behind Chinese medicine, as it is practiced in modern days. ” Candace Veach

“The five Wu, the five elements are seen as these five energies that are dancing together . . .  they're generating each other, and they're controlling each other. And so it's meant to be a harmonized dance.” - Candace Veach

“When anything goes out of balance, anywhere in this cycle, it has a cascade effect of knocking things out of balance..” - Candace Veach

“The Chinese system is the oldest Holistic Health System on the planet. Now the word holistic gets thrown around a lot. So much so, that people don't really know what that word means - it has a clear definition. I've heard people tell me, oh, my doctor is holistic, he prescribes supplements. That's not what holistic means. Holistic is a word that is attached to the idea of systems thinking.” Candace Veach

“And in the scientific way of thinking of things, you parse things down. It's called a reductionist method, you parse things down smaller and smaller and smaller, smaller, smaller, so that you're looking at the interactions of the cells.” Candave Veach

“In a systems thinking model, in a holistic model, you're actually considering the entire system at the same time, and you're not concentrating on the individual pieces of the system, you're looking at how those different pieces of the system relate to one another. ” - Candace Veach

“Joy is not an emotion.  It is a spiritual emanation that comes from within you, and exists on its own.   Emotions make sense . . . being joyful in this world is not logical. But you were born Joyful and your Spirit still carries that and can let it shine forth again“ - Candace Veach
