2018 in a nutshell, was a whirl wind. It was a special year for me. I became father of a healthy babygirl, named Zya. I have released my “Come to me” single an Me EP . Travelled the world to DJ at amazing places. Today I finally give birth to the wonderful Yearmix of 2018. You have been waiting for a while now, but I have put my heart into it. The Flexican is the most talented Dj/producer I’ve ever heard!
Curiosity lead me to google search his name after first hearing it as a drop in the Major Lazer collaboration jam “Watch out fi this ft. Busy Signal.” It was then that I discovered his podcast and I was blown away with the Yours Truly mixes. Never before have I heard such artistic flair and genius in mixing, living in Trinidad I knew nothing about electronica and I was amazed with the way he blended those sounds to create a masterpiece and goosebump-evoking sound with a mystifying touch of reverb and backspin that literally immersed me into the mix. The Flexican is a true eclectic which is evidenced by his dexterity in so many genres. I’m also a hobby Dj and this guy is my hero.
