Pop Culture Nerds Love

    431: Godzilla vs. The Flickcast

    431: Godzilla vs. The Flickcast

It's time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it's Episode 431: Godzilla vs. The Flickcast.

Yes, we know, Godzilla vs. The Flickcast is a pretty cool name for an episode. We get that. Thanks.

On this episode Chris and Joe dive into a slew of new and recurring topics such as the amazing Godzilla vs. King Kong, Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, their personal theories on who the "Power Broker" is and how the show will end and a wee bit more on Justice League and other Marvel movies coming soon.

They also talk about a bunch of other stuff, but it's mostly apes punching lizards this week.

Of course, since Chris is back again, this episode runs a bit long. Again, what can we do? It is his show. Also . . .

If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you're really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.

    Thanks for listening!

They also talk about a bunch of other stuff, but those are the main ones this week.

Of course, since Chris is back, this episode runs a bit longer than last week. What can we do? It's kinda his show. Anyway . . .

    429: In the Snyder Cut

    429: In the Snyder Cut

It's time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it's Episode 429: In the Snyder Cut.

Chris is off this week (shocking, right?) so Joe welcomes "friend of the show" and Digital Trends Contributing Editor Rick Marshall to take on the task of discussing a whole bunch or new and recurring topics. Ah, who are we kidding, this show is about one big thing. Or, in this case, one long thing. Also, it's about one "new" thing.

That's right, it's finally time to get in the Snyder Cut of Justice League now that it's been released to HBO Max. So, do they love it? Do they hate it? Does anyone give a shit at this point? You'll have to listen and find out. You can also check out Rick's spoiler-free review over at Digital Trends.

Joe and Rick also talk a bit about Falcon and the Winter Soldier too. So if you're into that show, you'll want to listen. And don't worry, Chris will be back next week to probably talk about all this stuff again. He hates to be left out.

Don't forget, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating or review helps. And if you're really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.

    428: Moving On

    428: Moving On

It's time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it's Episode 427: Moving On.

On this episode Chris and Joe are back discussing a bunch of new and recurring topics, as they often do. Some of these include a bit more about the finale of WandaVision, upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, further managing of expectations, where the MCU goes from here, the "Snyder Cut", audio books and a whole lot more.

Once again, this latest episode is not as long as some of the last few, but it's still got a lot of great discussion, analysis and commentary. . . Well, at least it's not that long.

Oh, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you're really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.

This episode is not as massive as the last few, but it's still chock full of great discussion, analysis and commentary. Well, most of those things anyway. . . At least it's shorter. Okay?

The Best at What They Do

It’s always a pleasure to listen to Chris and Joe offer their expert perspective on film, TV, games, and life in general. Invariably, I learn about content I haven’t heard of previously, or perhaps hadn’t considered watching. This dynamic duo just keeps on delivering, year after year. Give this podcast a try - you won’t be disappointed!

Knowledgeable and passionate

There is nothing more impressive to watch (or in this case to listen to ) than someone engaged in an activity that he or she is truly passionale about. Chris and Joe are well versed in the subject matter, and they put it across in such a way that reels the listener in and keeps him there.

Even if you aren't a pop culture fanatic as I suspect many of the listeners of The Flickcast are, you'll thoroughly enjoy listening to Chris and Joe banter, inform and transmit their passion.
