244. Christians Do Not Understand Rest.
We often times believe REST is JUST Sleep or "quiet time," but I think having hobbies is restful as well. Whether it be reading, cooking, or having a collection, I think God puts these things in our path so we do not just get rest of the body, but of the mind.
"Rest" is defined as "peace, ease or refreshment," "Relax" means "to become loose or less firm, to have a milder manner, to be less stiff." The Bible speaks quite highly of rest. It is a repeated theme throughout Scripture, beginning with the creation week.

242. Finding your way through grief.
Hannah Keels, who joined her husband, former Fostoria resident Chuck Keels, in urging cancer patients to "Get Up and Live," lost her battle with the disease Tuesday at age 48.
Chuck's hometown was among their stops as she and her husband traveled throughout the United States to share their story of maintaining an active lifestyle despite both having dealt with stage four cancer diagnoses.
While living in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Keelses founded the Living Hope Cancer Foundation to help coach cancer through their treatment experiences. They knew of which they spoke, with Hannah Keels actively battling metastatic breast cancer and Chuck having experienced a bout with prostate cancer before, he says, Jesus physically touched him.
Hannah's cancer spread to other parts of her body and her brain as her battle continued for about six years. During last spring and summer, she drove a mobile home from San Diego to St. Augustine, Florida, as Chuck completed a "Ride Like a Thriver" bicycle tour to bring attention to their foundation.

241. The Importance of our Faith in Tough Times...
With a larger than life personality, Chuck brings joy, encouragement and positivity everywhere he goes.
Chuck experienced complete healing from stage 4 cancer in 2015. Given only 3 months to live when diagnosed, with 90% of his bones affected by cancer, he had a divine moment of healing that changed his life miraculously. His story is incredible and can be found in his book Hi, I'm Chuck or by inviting him to personally tell it to a group of any size. It's a magnificent lesson of healing and hope.
Chuck has a heart to walk alongside those who are affected by cancer. He coaches out of experience and can identify with the patient having "been there" and "done that." He offers encouragement and hope from a place of understanding.

Personal & Spiritual Growth
I would say that the speakers on this podcast have went through some life and are talking on their strengths. Marc really does well on picking subjects and questions based on the speakers strengths. Look for the golden nuggets and the subject you’ll want to grow in.👍
