San Diego Listener, Two Years On
Gentlemen,
Count me as one of your American fans. I am currently doing a rewatch of the Return (May 2019), which I originally viewed on a weekly basis (each episode twice), as you are doing in this podcast. Your impressions are an excellent companion as I return to Twin Peaks two years later. I identify and generally commiserate with your frustration at the many surprises, disappointments, puzzlements, and challenges thrown our way. As I have at this point only reached Part 12, "Let's Rock," I can only wonder what you will make of Part 18 and pray there will be no bloodshed.
I have to say I'm enjoying much about the Return more this time around and finding some things funny or intriguing which only exasperated me in 2017. If the Formica Table (green is its color) ever conducts a re-watch podcast, I will be an interested listener.
Best regards,
Joe Mersch
