Finally a show that isn't censored by religiosity and cold traditionalism! The "Into the Wild" show is an unrestrained, cutting edge, over the top look at the Christian life, lived outside the cage.

Who has lost their way?

A general comment, but especially to Jerry775 (and anyone else) who thinks this is an "itching ears" message - unlike the traditional view that "itching ears" want preaching that is easy on sin, etc - I think any research about church history and realizing the pull of Judaism to early believers, as Paul did in his warning about the desire of itching ears and the type of preaching they were seeking, I think that the preaching they were seeking (and sadly, many today still seek) was the religion of their grandfathers, the comfort of the Jewish law and the Old Covenant. That, I believe, was Pauls's warning. The church has lost its way - but sadly, it was a long time ago - Frank Viola"s book "Pagan Christianity", tracing the history of our modern church practices lays it all out and it is a troubling, powerful challenge to what many of us have been taught our whole lives.

This podcast brought me back

I had given up. This podcast reminded me that church isn't a business. Church isn't a building. Church isn't a denomination. Church isn't a religion. God isn't dangerous like all of the aforementioned. Just live a little in the wild.
