There is an indication that the freelance industry in South Africa is experiencing significant growth, with more people turning to freelancing as a viable career option, that is why BeyondMedia is calling upon South African businesses, non-governmental organisations, government, and individuals to join in fighting unemployment and creating more work opportunities. In support and promotion of freelancing in South Africa, BeyondMedia launched the ‘freelance pledge', which intends to level the playing field for freelancers in the job market.
