After a successful career as a practicing attorney and service as General Counsel to former Governor James B. Hunt, Jr. Brad joined BCBSNC as General Counsel in 1996. During his 22 year career at Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina, he held four different senior executive positions until being named President and CEO in 2010. Under his leadership, Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina fully implemented the Affordable Care Act. In all, 100 North Carolina counties grew to 3.9 million customers and approximately $10 billion in revenue.
