A Sense of Purpose
What can we do to find meaning in our own suffering and the suffering of the world? K & F ask Dr. Rogério Pinto this low-key question during a morning call in quarantine. In his delightful Brazilian/Queens accent, Rogério shares a tribute to New York and describes his process of “psychological excavation” through which he has found peace and meaning from a childhood trauma through art. He provides encouragement that everyone has the ability for this kind of healing work.

Farley and Kurt are now self-isolating in Virginia, away from New York City, planning to celebrate Katherine’s birthday and their anniversary via video conference. Katherine recounts her first Quarantine Accident. (We hoped it would be her only accident, but since recording, we now know it was not. She’s fine.) The sisters find inspiration in tough times.

Weird is inherited
These women have been weirding it together for a long time. The first episode is just the first appetizer, like peanuts, or chips and salsa, to keep you from starving. The baked Brie with chutney and Southern pimento cheese with cayenne will be offered soon. Keep an ice cold beer handy.
Re: Episode 5 with Jim and Chelsea. A very fun and thought filled discussion. Jim’s finding extra time in his life by going vegetarian poses room for thought for all. This episode shows growth in the podcast that was bound to come with experience. The discussion and analysis, desires and perspectives of these four young people gives hope for the world. My conclusion: this episode is the Baked Brie with chutney served on a homemade gluten free dairy free baguette with a good cup of coffee . Five stars!
