Dr. Melissa Ming Foynes is a clinical psychologist, educator, coach, as well trauma-informed mindfulness, meditation and yoga teacher, and Ayurvedic doula.
She owns a therapy practice specializing in trauma, grief, and loss as well as an online coaching business that integrates evidence-based tools from psychology with wisdom from complementary and alternative medicine to help women work through anxiety, self-doubt, and self-judgment in order to live their lives in alignment with their innermost needs, desires, dreams, and values.
In addition to her advanced training in various Eastern and Western healing modalities, Dr. Foynes received her Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and completed fellowships at Yale University School of Medicine and the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
