The Gifted S:2 calaMity E:14 Review
Somebody get these kids some new Capri Sun! We're talking about calaMity and let us tell you; there's A LOT of flaws in that last 2% of the inner Circle's 98% Impenetrable fortress! Lorna gets away with everything, and Sage is left as a 0 and 1 seeing scape goat! Meanwhile, Lorna may be confessing some things to Andy? Kate and Reed FINALLY talk to one another about random secrets that they've been keeping for some unknown reason, Lauren decides to face her fears and stop taking drugs inspiring Reed to face his powers as well! Doing their best
Apparently some listeners are turned off because scheduling pushes the after show a few days after the tv program is aired. Huh. I’d like the hosts to bring up the notion of passing privilege, the degree that it exists among the mutants in the context of the show, the missed opportunity that the show is not using a character with “ugly” makeup as a principal character, and why we can’t have an actor who isn’t tween heartthrob attractive as a recurring character on a show where we root for people who are different.
Gifted Afterbuzz Review
Just like I keep saying ever After Show, it just keeps getting better and better by the minute. I love how you guys are so in touch with us comic book fans and be dropping comic knowledge with every episode and theory that comes along. But now that this sentimental spiel is over, what got me curious is how the Underground is going to rebuild after all their resources and connections has been depleted to absolutely nothing in the last week.
With that being said, I personally think that Esme is going to leave her sisters to find her egg donor of a mother, Emma Frost since I don’t see her going back to the Underground after the things she’s done to them. And if she does it isn’t for long. Cause from what I remember from the comics she did end up leaving her sisters to get stronger.
Also I honestly think that’s a different Blink that just portalled in working under Selene Gallio, the Black Queen. One of the oldest and strongest mutants in history. And with how this finale left us I fear that John will have to come to grips with his emotions as he’s fighting a different version of his dead girlfriend. I wonder how their eventual fight will be like. #TeleportingAssassin
It's the final episode!
Hopefully not of the series. I hope the finale has lived up to the mostly good season 2. I did find it funny how the penultimate episode was basically everyone (read: Andy and Esme) being like "I still follow Reeva just because of you, Lorna. My loyalty to her cause is all because of you."
