From Pro-Life to Pro-Love with Amy Ford

From Pro-Life to Pro-Love with Amy Ford

How should we be approaching the pro-life conversation as the church?

While this is a topic so many people are passionate about, it’s also a conversation that so many people in our culture feel unprepared to have. And it’s not just about having the conversation — how do we love the people in our worlds who are making or who have already walked the road of making this decision? Today we’re unpacking this on the podcast with my friend Amy Ford.

Amy Ford is a wife, mother, and founder of the pro-life organization Embrace Grace. I can’t wait for you to hear as she shares her powerful story of choosing life when she found herself unexpectedly pregnant at 19, and how that decision has opened the door to care for women nationwide who find themselves in similar positions.

    In this episode, Amy shares:
—her own story of choosing life for her unborn son
—how the church can better care for women who find themselves with unexpected pregnancies
—how God has redemption, hope, and a plan for EVERY person — even those who have had abortions
—why being “pro-love” is even more powerful than being pro-life

I hope this episode equips you to care for those in your life who have walked this road. And if you have walked this road yourself, I hope you listen and know that God has redemption, hope, and a future for you!

Do you know someone who could use this encouragement today? Feel free to share this episode with her!

Genuine Wisdom & Truth for a Motherless Generation

I consider Lisa to be my spiritual mama and friend and I love gleaning from her passion, wisdom, and experience. She genuinely cares about the next generation and I look forward to all of her podcasts for a line of hope when I am drowning in all things motherhood or life. I love listening to her wins and struggles in being a mom or life and how she lives out her walk with the Lord to overcome the hard days. She is fun, funny, and relatable and brings on amazing guests to learn from. I am in the thick of mothering 3 littles all under age 4 now and doing it alone from a physical grandmother/godmother perspective so it is so wonderful having this as a tool in my pocket to be encouraged by those that have gone before me to keep going. Especially on the hard days where it can feel really lonely and chaotic being a mom.... messages like this are essential. Thank you for your obedience to share to a (in a lot of ways) motherless generation. Your voice is absolutely necessary. Love it.
