Challenging, inspiring, REAL

I recently started listening to this podcast, and I can’t even remember who told me about it but it has been in my “subscribed” pile for a while. I am HOOKED! If you are remotely interested in making yourself or the world better through the life God has given you, this is a MUST LISTEN!

Life changing!

Despite supporting Noonday for several years, I was hesitant to try Jessica’s podcast until someone sent me an episode, the one with the founder of MOPS. I found so many biggest dog wisdom and insight and inspiration in that one episode that I decided to try another. And another. And another. Now, I have added pretty much every book she talks about on the show to my reading list, and more importantly, I’ve finally figured out how to encourage my creative energy and start pursuing my lifelong artistic goals. The mix of practical, actionable insights and tips for personal growth combined with consistently inspirational stories of women doing the “impossible” and changing the world while living their dreams is POTENT. It’s dangerous stuff, y’all, in the best possible way.

On a more granular level, I’ll add that while Jessica sometimes can come off as, shall we say, unintellectual, I am continually impressed with her ability to ask really deep, thoughtful, carefully worded questions that enrich her conversations. She is not afraid to challenge people, to point out the potential holes or inconsistencies in their statements, and to require deep reflection on the part of her guests. And I’ve only made it through a dozen of the most recent episodes so far (I had to listen to a couple more than once!), but the quality of her guests is consistently incredible. I even made my husband listen to one of them, and he loved it!

Please keep it up, Jessica!

Lovely

I was introduced to Jessica on Jennie Allen’s podcast. I quickly found her and subscribed and have so far listened to one interview. I’m smitten! Love the realness and passion that ouzes from Jess’s heart!
