The Golden Mean

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of politics. But I am an enormous fan of Michael Golden. During this unprecedented period of our history, we’re fortunate to have a thoughtful leader (and veteran journalist) such as Michael guiding us through the murky political system. Each time I listen to this podcast, I become more informed and therefore, I become more empowered.

I am so glad to find this podcast. Michael Golden is a news and politics veteran who has created a podcast that offers intelligent conversation about important issues. I am so burned out on the presidential campaigns that I'm surprised that my smoke detector doesn't go off, so Michael's program is welcome. I have known him for over 20 years, and this podcast isn't just solid gold, it's solid Golden.

The best interviewers not only listen well and research meticulously, but are also prepared for whatever tangent the conversation takes. Michael Golden knows all about everything from the 1994 midterm elections to the 2003 Chicago Cubs to the early films of Martin Scorcese. As a result, his podcast offers layers and insights and a diverse array of stories and guests. I'm hooked.

Mr. Golden has a way of presenting topics that not only grab your attention, but also make you think long after listening. I look forward to future podcasts.
