Just What I Was Looking for AND Needed

This content was exactly what I was looking for: what is MG/YA as a genre these days; sharing her early and recent publishing experiences; inner exploration on how you’re going to write—to pivot, or not, to current market trends; honoring what you want/need to put into the world; hearing her journey as a MG/YA autho. The quote from author of Jason Bourne (film) really resonated with me; the core of why I’m called to re-enter writing/publishing.

And, Mary, I’m delighted to discover you have this podcast. I’m reading your book, ‘How to Write Irresistible Kidlit’— one of my core books for learning this new-to-me genre. An interview between the two of you is a treasure.

I’m re-entering writing/publishing, being called to write a MG adventure/mystery series then a YA adventure/mystery series, having only done non-fiction and technical titles in the past. Listening to this episode was such a valuable experience.

Thank you!
