    Amy Ruff BSN RN coordinates Transcendental Meditation programs and research in hospitals and nursing programs around the country. She has been a certified TM teacher for over 30 years. She learned the TM technique as a new nurse in the ICU, about to crash and leave the profession due to burnout. Once practicing TM regularly, she went on to have a satisfying and dynamic 40 year clinical career. Amy will share her story with us!

    This week we talk with Life and Wellness Coach Olivia Lopez about Transcendental Meditation, tips on self-care, and her upcoming book "Finding Happiness Within: Seven lessons on Life, Love, Hope and Transcendental Meditation". Olivia Marie Lopez has spent her entire life immersed in the field of natural health and the development of consciousness, both as a student of these fields and as a teacher and coach for others to pursue these areas of knowledge.

    Olivia grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico until she left at the age of 5 with her mother to spend 10 years of her life in Germany. She returned to the U.S. as a high school student at the Maharishi School in Fairfield, Iowa, where she received a consciousness-based education. After high school, she continued her studies at Maharishi International University, where she received both a B.A. and M.B.A, and deepened her knowledge about natural health and the development of consciousness through Transcendental Meditation.

    After her post-graduate studies, Olivia trained over 1,000 students in the Transcendental Meditation program over a period of 10 years, where she taught a wide range of students, from high school students in inner-city schools in San Francisco to Hollywood celebrities in Beverly Hills, to nurses in Sarasota, Florida, and to the public throughout California and Florida.

    Currently, Olivia is a life, health, and business coach who helps her clients live a less stressful, more healthy life by using several tools that are based on her knowledge of natural health. After moving around a lot in her life, she now resides in Sarasota, Florida where she looks forward to planting some roots and raising a family someday with her partner Tommy.

Love how real they are!

Love this show! First episode is great! I love how they open up about what nurses face in the real world of trying to balance work emotionally and home life. Can’t wait for episode 2!
