For season 2, I love how real, honest, and practical it is. I appreciate Karisa's vulnerability in sharing her really personal story, and the way both Chi-En and Karisa model graciousness and nonjudgement in the way they look back on what happened. And I loved how season 1 showed so many different ways of looking at how to spend, save, and give in line with your values! I really appreciate that they don't try to tell anyone what to do. They acknowledge that everyone's situations, values, desires, and goals are different, so different things will work for different people.

I have finally finished listening to all of the episodes of season 1, and I have to say that I am impressed. I love the questions asked and the back-and-forth energy between guests on the show, and at the same time, I like to hear Chi-En's personal thoughts and commentary on a variety of topics. One of the interesting things said was how a budget is like a mirror - it reflects what we're doing with our money. This is an excellent metaphor and absolutely true.

I have been a big fan of Goodbudget’s apps for over 6 years, and I am so excited that Goodbudget is coming out with a podcast! I love listening to regular people talking about the ups and downs of living their lives on a budget — and still feeling good about all the choices and compromises that we all have to make. I’m inspired to do what I can with my money choices in my marriage and family, and the guest stories help me to be at peace with it all.
