Today, I’m so excited to share an interview with the incredibly talented and deeply soulful Juliette Crane. I truly enjoyed this conversation with her—her artistry is breathtaking, and her story is truly inspiring.

Based in the scenic Driftless Region of Wisconsin, Juliette’s work gracefully dances between abstraction and figuration, exploring themes of memory, color, and the natural world. After losing her job in 2009, she returned to her childhood love—painting. Starting with dripping and splashing colors, she intuitively uncovered figures within the layers, creating art that reflects the inner radiance of human life.

When shoulder trouble in 2024 made painting large portraits difficult, she shifted her approach—laying canvases flat and building luminous layers of color that evoke emotion and connection. Her work challenges expectations, inviting viewers into a space of reflection and universal truth.

In this episode, Juliette shares her process, her journey, and her mission to help others find their own creative voice. Her soulful, expressive work is a reminder that imperfection is beautiful—and that true magic is found in the depths of our stories.
