Growing up in Michigan, he was motivated by his father’s evocative landscapes and an early love for the woods and wildlife. His creative journey took him from studying art to retreating into the forest for spiritual reflection and exploring the connections between nature, meditation, and even quantum science.

Rick’s work moves effortlessly between realism and abstraction, capturing the pulsating energy and rhythm of the universe. Whether working outdoors or in the studio, he creates paintings that challenge us to see beyond the surface—merging the observable world with the unseen forces that connect us all. His journey is one of quiet reverence and joy, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into his process and philosophy today.
