Customer Reviews
Gravel-icious
As a new cyclist to both the road and the gravel, learning about the sport through Nathan’s eyes is extraordinarily informative, encouraging and exciting! The depth of his knowledge as a pro cyclist on riding techniques, his history in the sport, and the excellent connections he has with his guests makes for a show I’m excited to download each week!
Good, but Nathan ca be a little whiney at times
I generally like the pod. Nathan is clearly switched on and has a lot of enthusiasm. I also appreciate the non-US perspective. But I do sometimes find that he tends to whine a bit about gravel racing in the US and even some of the other competitors. Fair enough, I suppose. He’s an ex world tour pro. It’s not like he doesn’t get bike racing stuff. Anyway, I always listen. One last quibble. Up until the most recent interview with the fitness coach dude, he hadn’t had a genuinely boring episode. I’ve become incapable of listening to gravel dudes (they're sadly all dudes) that talk to non cycling athletes about the meaning of life, overcoming tragedy, etc. keep the chat to gravel. You can even whine all you like about American stuff. That’s cool. I’ll keep listening. Just stay on topic, please.
Eye Opening Stuff
The 2014 Giro d’Italia pods have been wonderful. The story and struggles around every team that doesn’t win can be so compelling. Decker is a super interesting dude.
