    What's in a Name?

    What's in a Name?

When we grow, things around us must also grow. Or be left behind. Whichever way you look at it the result is the same. This is the last episode of Latitude Photography Podcast, but the show will go on. Listen in to learn all about it.
    The Genesis of this change
If there’s one thing I hope you get out of this podcast is that I’m very interested in pursuing my purpose. I’m also interested in you pursuing your purpose in photography. We each have a purpose for being here on this earth and for doing what we do. We each uniquely have the interests, talent and capability to create works that no one else can create. We are focused on travel/outdoor photography and it is something that burns within us at our core. While each of us are unique, we share this common interest, and this common goal of creating meaningful photographs of the great outdoors.

So the name of this podcast, starting with the very next episode, will be, “The Great Outdoors Photography Podcast.”

Thinking about Hyperfocal Distance, Travel and Images from Berlin

Today we’re talking about a few different things. The primary item is hyperfocal distance. What is it and is it really important to use in your photography. We’ll also take a walk down memory lane with a photo shoot I did a while ago. This is Latitude Photography Podcast episode 144 for June 3, 2022.

Planning, Shooting and Processing Timelapse Photographs

It’s kind of interesting how the topic of timelapse has turned into the longest episode of this podcast. But that’s alright. There’s a lot here, starting with setting expectations all the way through to using an awesome software app that specializes in processing excellent quality time lapse videos. This is Latitude Photography Podcast episode 143 for May 8, 2022.

Photography and travel entertainment

Brent brings you to out to travel photography locations with lots of details and interesting interviews. The Forgotten Pieces of Georgia episode was so inspirational for Photogs. An accomplished photographer was looking for inspiration by driving around the state and found history in old structures and buildings and made it into a project. Fascinating story. Keep up the good informative podcasts to keep inspiring us Brent!

Educational, interesting, and easy to understand

This and Master Photography Podcast are my two favorite photography podcasts out there. They are very informative and cover a wide range of topics. They also have amazing Facebook groups that are well monitored, making them the perfect place to ask questions you can’t seem to find other places.

Becoming my favorite

I just started listening to the Latitude Photography podcast. It’s rapidly becoming one of my favorite podcasts. Brent combines the technical and artistic sides of photography in a wonderful blend. Each episode has been really interesting so I’m working my way back through all of the older shows I’ve missed. It’s obvious that Brent is putting a lot of work and time into this. He’s very organized. Love it!
