Amazing podcast for LOTR LCG
The Grey Company was/ are huge parts of the LOTR LCG community, and it’s always a joy listening to them.
I originally originally listened to this podcast about 6-7 years ago when I was still actively playing the game. Now that me and my brother are getting back into the game, I started re-listening from the start… and it’s still as entertaining to listen to as it was years ago.
If you’re just getting into LOTR LCG or revisiting a old friend, you should 100% listen to this podcast. The episodes are truly timeless, and I really appreciate all the effort the Grey Company put into this.
Great analysis
This is the best podcast regarding the LotR LCG. The hosts provide detailed analysis, stay on track, and have great chemistry. This is the podcast that got me excited to build decks for the game.
I've listened to all episodes through 23.5) and...
...the guys (Derek, Ian, Dan and Matthew) do a great job of presenting different points of view about the game. While they wouldn't admit it, they are experts at the game and how it's played. The podcast is well structured by Derek, but each episode seems to contain spontaneous moments of realization and excitement. Their personalities are quite different - to the point that are moments of tension (reference the moment when, after a sincere sounding disagreement, Matthew indignantly reminds Dan his name is "Matthew, not Matt"). These moments make the podcast "real" and create meaningful discussion. It is a delight. Many thanks to the guys for their efforts.
