All event proceeds benefit Spelman College students from Jamaican and sub-Saharan African countries.

    Brandon Broussard is a screenwriter with 15 years of writing experience. In 2006 he was a writing fellow at USC in the Guy Hanks & Marvin Miller screenwriting program. He received his first TV writing credit in 2008 on Tyler Perry's House of Payne.

    In 2015, Brandon started Murder Ink, a feature film writing company with Hudson Obayuwana and Jana Savage. Since then, Brandon has written and produced screenplays with several major studios including The Perfect Match with Lionsgate, #RealityHigh which he wrote and Executive produced for Netflix and is his most recent film, Praise This, a musical comedy for Universal Studios and Will Packer Productions. Brandon has several other feature and television projects in development at Macro, Revelations and Lionsgate. The short film, Run, is the first project he's written and directed since his graduate film, The Epicureans.
