    But...They Hate Me

    But...They Hate Me

The Church has used loving God as an excuse for alienating the world. The Bible did say that we would be persecuted and hated just as Jesus was after all. However, we shouldn’t use that as an excuse to shut ourselves off from the rest of the world because they’re all God’s children too.

They hated me, but I was stilling willing to die for them. They wanted to run me out of town, but I was still willing to die for them.

Are we going to be rejected? Sure. But the story is, “What are you willing to do for those that rejected you?”

    Vulgar Grace

    Vulgar Grace

God worked pretty hard to make grace as simple as possible. Then in Revelations 22, He told us not to add anything to it. But we humans sure can’t help from needing to make things more complicated.

Pastor Dan Minor boils grace down to the simplest form: “Whosoever will, let them come.”

    The Cure Is a Conversation

    The Cure Is a Conversation

Many of us went into 2020 thinking it would be a “Year of Clarity.” Then we laughed as the events of this year unfolded. Instead, we entered a year with more civil and political unrest than any in our lifetime.

Emotions are high for many, and rightfully so. In middle of all of it, it seems we can’t have a conversation anymore. In fact, we aren’t even allowed to start the conversation. But if we will have the conversation, you’re going to find out that the person that you, or I, labeled as evil, whether because of what they believe or how they vote, that maybe their motives aren’t as evil as you think.

Have a conversation, and finding value in another person, is the bedrock of what will heal our nation.

Let deconstruction begin!!

Pastor Dan truly has a gift of delivering truth. He’s not afraid to talk about the lies we’ve believed that just aren’t truth. He refuses to mix religion with Grace. He is anointed to help you deconstruct and equally as anointed to help you begin to reconstruct.

Favorite Christian podcast!

Pastor Dan Minor and the leadership at Harvest Sarasota are teaching God’s heart, His grace, and how to live from a place of redemption unlike any other church I’ve come across. I love listening to the Sunday morning or Wednesday night sermons while I’m driving or taking my dog for a walk. This is not just inspirational, the message coming from the Harvest is life changing and heart transforming.
