Guest Bio:
Mamta Sahu Landerman C.A.S. P.K.T. has been teaching transformational work for the last 34 years. Her keen interest in people, a holistic approach to lifestyle and her love of nature and natural rhythms has guided her into a deep and passionate study of her ancient heritage from India, of Jyotisha, Ayurveda and Pancha Karma. She began to study Jyotisha (Vedic Astrology) with Hart de Fouw in 2001. She considers imbibing this sacred wisdom a lifelong journey. Presently she both practices and teaches Jyotisha.
Mamta is also a Clinical Ayurveda and Pancha Karma Specialist, traveling to various parts of the US teaching healing modalities. She is the Founding President of CAAM (The California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine) and produced three Ayurveda International Symposia at U.C. Berkeley, bringing together—some for the first time—the various lineages of Ayurveda in the U.S. to sow seeds for the future vision of the Ayurvedic profession in this country. Many joint ventures in Ayurveda across the U.S. have sprouted as a result of these conferences. In early 2018 upon CAAM's request she has returned and serves on the Board as President. Currently Mamta teaches at Kerala Ayurveda Academy and Ayuvidya College of America.  She is also an independent teacher offering classes, workshops and courses in Ayurveda and Jyotisha and available to travel to various Educational Institutions, Yoga Schools and informally at community get togethers.
A clairvoyant and mother of two grown sons, she is a native of India, living in this country since 1975. While she teaches the Vedic Sciences she also runs her organic blueberry/strawberry farm in Sebastopol California.
