Normalizing Digestive Struggles + a balanced Low-FODMAP Approach with Charlyn Ooi, RD The Healthy Mama Kitchen Podcast | Healthy Cooking Hacks for Busy Moms, Meal Planning, Meal Prep & Grocery Budgeting

    • Food

Navigating digestive issues can be beyond difficult (not to mention embarrassing). As I shared in my personal episode a couple weeks ago, the road to healing can be long and winding and it can be intimidating to know even where to start when it comes to healing digestive health issues. Should I see a doctor, a dietitian? Should I change what I eat? Is there anything else I can do?I asked the IBS dietitian herself, digestive health and FODMAP expert Charlyn Ooi to come on and share with us where to start when it comes to healing digestive issues in a balanced way- that still includes enjoying food! We get right into the poop talk in this one, and we are ALL about breaking the stigma and helping more women find health and healing. About Charlyn:Charlyn is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 10 years of experience as a dietitian. She specialises in helping women with digestive issues, specifically Irritable Bowel Syndrome and SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). Charlyn is a Monash Trained FODMAP Dietitian and she has helped over 500 people around the world find relief from frustrating & embarrassing gut problems. Charlyn is on a mission to end the stigma and normalize poop talk.
When she's not working with clients, Charlyn is a Dietitian Business Coach, a wife, and mommy to a cheeky 3-year-old. She lives in Perth, Western Australia, and just like many dietitians, she's a foodie at heart.
