An Excellent Introduction

I loved this podcast and can't praise it high enough. It was my first introduction to Michael Nava and Henry Rios and I'm glad I found the show. Now I'm reading the Henry Rios novels and can't get enough. Excellent production

It brings the novel to life

I have been a fan of the Michael Nava novels since they came out and was delighted to hear that this first book in the series was being released in a pod cast. Even though I have read the book “The Little Death” several times, I found that I had forgotten the major plot points of the book. My only complaint has been the wait each week waiting for the release of the next podcast. When the series is completely released I intend to go back and have a nonstop listen on my next road trip. It’s not the complete book, but a well done boiled down dramatization. I am looking forward to the next book in the Henry Rios series. Well done!

A new dimension

When I first read The Little Death many years ago, I discovered the world of Jenry Rios and the wonderful, homo-friendly, mysterious fiction of Michael Nava. When Lay Your Sleeping Headwas first published I felt immediately reconnected to an old and familiar friend. This podcast takes that fresh take on familiar territory and elevates it to a new dimension. Bravo!
