So Tired: My Story w/ guest host Erin Faught

So Tired: My Story w/ guest host Erin Faught

In today’s episode of #TheHighVibeShow, we’re doing things a little bit differently. I really wanted to share my story, but I didn’t know the best way to do it. Rather than sitting in front of a mic talking *to* myself *about* myself, I thought it would be cool to have someone interview me instead—and who better to do that than someone who has been through it all with me?

So, today we have a guest host who will be interviewing me: my high school bff, Erin Faught! We’re going to talk about how my high school days influenced me, everything I learned in university, how I made the move to Toronto—and that time I got frauded.

    About Erin

When Erin isn’t focused on her main priority of being Kyla’s BFF, she’s a cancer researcher by day and musician by night.

    Freedom Lifestyle with Sam Laliberte

    Freedom Lifestyle with Sam Laliberte

We’ve all seen them. We’ve liked their photos, we’ve ogled their grids. If you use Instagram and you love to travel, you know I’m talking about digital nomads. And if you're a wanderluster like me, it’s a pretty enviable lifestyle. In this episode, my guest Sam Laliberte calls herself a “nomad in progress.” Sam is a full-time freelancer, the founder of the Freedom Lifestyle podcast and Facebook community, and in partnership with her long-distance bae, is now building her own digital nomad lifestyle.

In today’s episode of the High Vibe Show, a space where I interview creative people who are living high vibe lives, and doing cool, interesting things in the area of growing a business, self-growth, and professional development, we’re going to hear Sam’s story. Where she got started, why she decided to move away from the traditional corporate lifestyle, and how the hell she makes it all work.

    Starting Over with Sami Huda

The High Vibe Show is a space where I interview creative people who are living high vibe lives, and doing cool, interesting things in the area of growing a business, self-growth, and professional development.

As 90s kids, we were told we could be anything we wanted when we grew up. But even then, there was this idea that you’d pick that thing you love and then you’d stick with it for life and that would be your career. In this episode of the High Vibe Show, we talk to Sami Huda about breaking the stigma that comes with starting over in your 30s and handling the outside pressure that comes with doing something that may seem unconventional.

One of the scariest parts of branching out on your own is dealing with legal mumbo jumbo: contracts, rate negotiations ... and what to do if a client doesn't pay.  But it doesn’t have to be hard and it doesn’t have to be scary. In this episode of the High Vibe Show, I talk to lawyer slash food blogger Annie Chu about the three main elements of any good contract, how to set your rates, and why it's so important to know yourself.
