A Mother's Journey to Heal her Daughter's Depression
Journey with Kristin Graziano as she shares what she did to help her daughter heal her depression and anxiety. This is a very vulnerable and real conversation about a mother's love and willingness to do anything for her daughter.
Kristin brings a WHOLE new way to look at mental illness. Kristin knew that conventional methods were not the path to bring her daughter closer to healing, so she set out on a journey to help her daughter find and heal the root cause of her depression.
What she finds is fascinating and inspiring to all of us! She brings us hope and elevated ideas on how we can help ourselves and our kids become the best versions of themselves. Isn't that what we all want?
Let's dive in!
The Whole-Child Approach, with Jessica Sherman
We are so lucky to have Jessica Sherman and her passion for guiding parents in taking a whole-child approach to building resilience within them and ourselves.
This conversation is in perfect timing, as so many children are struggling with anxiety and chronic health issues. She gives us permission to not be perfect and to realize that the best way we can be as parents, is by filling our cups first.
She shares simple action steps to begin to calm our nervous system and nourish our and our families bodies. I have a feeling this podcast will leave you feeling a little lighter and with a few more tools in your Hippie Mom toolbox.
My Recent Loss, a Story and a Poem
Listen in to my experience with a recent loss. I share a story and a poem.
How to Find the Magic in the Uneasy
How has the perspective of what's "hard" changed over thousands of years? In this episode, we explore modern societies' definition of hard and what we can learn from our ancestors 10's of thousands of years ago.
I bring this conversation to inspire more mamas to lean into "hard" choices that we must make daily in order to go against the grain of our culture and sick society. It's up to us to create a new world, and it's going to require us to step into a greater courage than we have ever known.
My hope is that this episode brings motivation and momentum to rise up and just begin seeing each moment as an opportunity to lean in to something new or lean back into the same habitual ways that keep caged and unfree.
How to Parent Children with BIG Emotions with Expert, Rachel Bailey
Rachel Bailey joins us in this episode to share her mission to help parents feel more in control while raising responsible, resilient, and confident kids.
Motherhood grants us AMPLE opportunities to be triggered by our children and their BIG emotions. The majority of us never learned how to FEEL big emotions, because we were told the feelings we were feeling aren't right, so when our children have them, we want them to stop.
It's a cycle that has been perpetuated for centuries and Rachel Bailey, a parenting specialist, joins us in this podcast to help us sift through the false beliefs we carry and opens the door to a new way of seeing ourselves and our children.
She brings us so many amazing revelations and tips to help us see what is keeping us stuck and what we can do to change the course of our lives and the lives of our kids.
As awakened mothers, we are here to stop cycles of behavior and programming so that our children can be free from our own pain, and instead, feel safe in all of their life experiences.
Join Rachel and me in this incredible conversation and learn how to help your children when they experience their BIG emotions, and maybe learn to help yourself as well!
How to Gently Teach Your Baby to Sleep with The Sleep Lady, Kim West
Kim West, known as the infamous Sleep Lady joins us in this episode to share her tips, tricks, and insights to help us teach our babies and children to sleep.
It's our job as parents to teach our children to learn how to sleep. Who knew that babies weren't born with this vital information!!!
I know so many mamas and families who struggle with co-sleeping, sleep training, and well just sleeping in general. There is SO much information out there and it can be overwhelming and confusing when nothing seems to be working.
We are not meant to do this alone, and The Sleep Lady is here to help us through these challenging and formative years of our children's lives.
She gives us permission to try new things and take what works and let go of all the other stuff that doesn't. Our children are as unique as each snowflake and what works for one mother, may not work for you.
We also tackle co-sleeping, routines, gentle sleep training, and so much more!
My hope is that this episode serves mamas who are struggling right now and just need a little encouragement to make this phase of their lives just a little bit easier.
She speaks to Dads too
I know I know. I’m a dad, but Becky’s wisdom on health and diet apply to us too. Especially as committed Dads supporting our wife’s and kids health journey as well as our own. Becky is the real deal.
Incorrect information on ADHD medications "toxic and that never work".
Very disappointed that someone who expresses open minded views on parenting is not more careful with your platform and voice.
The medications have saved lives, and can blend very well with nutrition and exercise for successful treatment.
This blurs the conversations of "issues with education system" and ADHD. Its dangerous and will impact kids getting the help they need.
Also very disparaging and insulting way to speak of the kids - "annoying" "high IQ doesn't matter if you can't turn in your work".
Kids and parents deserve better.
Love the content but…
So helpful and I have learned a lot by listening! Thank you for your boldness in sharing ways to improve my life and the lives of those around me. If I could change anything, it would be to not have profanity used throughout. I was listening to an episode with my little one nearby and was mortified when the host dropped the F bomb out of the blue. It truly surprised me since the podcast is focused around health, peace, and living intentionally…these words just seemed to be out of place.
