The Healing Power of Our Triggers with Angela Ferrari

The Healing Power of Our Triggers with Angela Ferrari

What if the way to heal ourselves lies in the power of our triggers. Instead of viewing our triggers as if something is wrong, what if they actually offered us the ability to transcend, expand, and heal through them? I believe we have been looking at the moments in our lives when we are triggered, from the wrong perspective.
When we are angry, irritated, in resistance, frustrated, and feeling "negative emotions" we believe that something is wrong with us or the situation at hand. Yet, Angela Ferrari offers us a complete new and enlightened perspective in this episode, about how our triggers actually offer us an opportunity to heal our lives, our relationships, and our hearts.

Angela is a phenomenal human being who is here to help awaken humanity from its slumber. We have been told lies and we operate from these lies as if they were truth. This is what keeps us spinning in the suffering in our lives. It's time we wake up and change the way we look at things so that we can heal and raise the next generation of humans who don't have to carry our burdens.

She gives us simple things we can integrate to begin to shift our experience in triggers from being "bad" to being expansive! The time is now to heal ourselves and I hope you love this episode as much as I do.

Healing in a Collective with psychotherapist, Tanya Cole-Lesnick

Healing in a Collective with psychotherapist, Tanya Cole-Lesnick

We continue on our healing journey with our guest this week, Tanya Cole-Lesnick.

Tanya is a licensed psychotherapist who runs hundreds of group therapy sessions helping people foster deep emotional growth so they can live their lives in peace and joy.

She shares with us her story of how group therapy changed her life and completely altered the trajectory of her path. We discuss the topmost common false beliefs humans operate from and how these beliefs create experiences in our lives that are not aligned with our true selves, thus creating unnecessary suffering and discord.

As humans, we are always longing for connection as we navigate this sometimes-harrowing human experience. In order to overcome the parts of us that keep us in alone and in suffering, we must question what we believe to be true and create space for something new to enter.

Tanya's work "centers around helping clients achieve inner and outer alignment so that they may lead lives which honor their truest selves, which is not an easy feat. Our lives are impacted by many powerful factors: childhood conditioning, the culture we live in, the “rules” we follow, our inner critics, our relationships, our energy levels, etc. Through this process of group therapy, she helps her clients move towards the ultimate goal—to lead lives that light them up!"

I hope this podcast inspires you to move towards a deeper connection with yourself and others and maybe begin to get curious about how healing in a collective can propel you towards living the way your heart deeply desires.

Why we must Rewild with author Jessica Carew Kraft

Why we must Rewild with author Jessica Carew Kraft

Do you feel the constant tug of this modern world, like I do? The tug of constant distractions, never-ending to-do lists, and endless stuff to move and manage? Living in this today's world can feel chaotic, loud, and overwhelming. Have you ever asked yourself if this way we were designed to live? At some point in our journey, we may notice the stresses of modern-day living greatly impacting our livelihood, our sense of wellbeing, and our miraculous bodies. We may even look closer and question if all the things we attend to and focus upon every day are actually worth all the energy we expend on them.

There may also come a time where we are led to shut the modern world out, for even and reconnect with the truth of who we are. In this latest episode of The Hippie Moms Podcast, Jessica Carew Kraft, the author of Why We Need to Be Wild, shares her journey from a Silicon Valley mom with a high-powered career to letting it all go to follow the path of her heart. She knew deeply that this chaotic tech lifestyle was negatively impacting herself and her family and began to question everything about modern day living.

Her burn out from this anxiety-ridden lifestyle fueled her to venture into the unknown. Her story is about how she rewilds herself back to the ancient ways humans have lived the majority of their existence and shares with us simple ways we too can get back to living a purer and more naturalistic lifestyle. I truly believe the majority of us suffer from nature deficiency. The seemingly urgent and important things we stress about every day rip the peace and calm right out from under us.

If we don't question our way of living, with compassion and curiosity, then we will continue spinning on the hamster wheel of a life that is just about getting by. We are not here on earth to "just get by"; we are here to live our divine destiny as divine beings. It took so much courage for Jessica to flip her life on its head to uncover the priceless gems hidden beneath the surface of technology and to-do's. This isn't about selling everything and moving to the middle of nowhere, it's about building a bridge between our modern lifestyles and the ancient way of nature. Even if we just come one step closer to the ways humans used to live, we will be reminded how we are nature and we belong to it. The further we walk away from our inherent pull towards nature, the further we fall into the pit of stress and dis-ease.

We cannot forget who we are. Jessica helps remind us of the way back home and urges us to take baby steps to get there. I hope you love this conversation as much as I do.

Unfortunate Misinformation

Incorrect information on ADHD medications "toxic and that never work".
Very disappointed that someone who expresses open minded views on parenting is not more careful with your platform and voice.
The medications have saved lives, and can blend very well with nutrition and exercise for successful treatment.
This blurs the conversations of "issues with education system" and ADHD. Its dangerous and will impact kids getting the help they need.
Also very disparaging and insulting way to speak of the kids - "annoying" "high IQ doesn't matter if you can't turn in your work".
Kids and parents deserve better.
