Join self-certified, award-pining histographer Scott Pinkmountain each week as he spelunks the annals of history from before the Big Bang right up until this very moment right now, heroically embodying the philosophic truism: Comedy + Tragedy = Time.
Broadcasting live from the historic Capital Defunct Breakfast Soda Building in Hollywood, CA (not to be confused with the Capitol Building in Hollywood, CA), Pinkmountain brings you the #1 rated The-History-Channeler-themed podcast with the help of producer “Silent” Syd Ballabad, superstar intern Chakra Kennedy-Onassis, super-not-star intern Higgenbaum, some nameless interchangeable “support” staff, and wealthy celebrity guests.

THC #52 Free At Last
Episode 52 is the final episode of season one of THC. Thanks for an amazing year. Check back for updates on season 2 soon.
If you are just joining us, you definitely don't want to start here. Maybe go back to episode 2 and start there. For the rest of you, y'all rule.
THC #51 The Empire's State
There's so much going on here at THC centrale that we needed to devote an entire episode just to catching up. Lots of help from our contributing reporters. Zero (volunteer) help from Higgenbaum.
THC #50 Trump
Clearly, this was inevitable. Also, Happy Anniversary to us!!
THC #49 Right Wing Political Art
Deep in the obscure taverns of histories past, and other times before this, we discover some things are always what they seem to be. Join us. Metaphorically.
THC #48 The internet
For the first time ever, we un-story the tale of how the internet came to be. There had to be a first time for everything, and seeing as how the internet falls under the greater category of everything, this is a first time for that. So, don't say we never do things we haven't done before.
Prepare to be channeled!
Full of hilarity, knowledge, semi-knowledge and a malleable sense of how we construct our lives, these 30-min episodes are like really long fortune cookies written by an Eastern European rabbi stoned on peyote.
Waste of time
Note that this is an attempt at comedy, and more power to them, but it offers nothing substantive if you're looking for actual history discussion.
Best comedy podcast out there
This has quickly become my favorite podcast. S Pinkmountain is like a demented, comedic Willy Wonka and THC is his absurd Chocolate Factory complete with oddball characters, places, ads and, er, “histories.” Do yourself a favor and grab a breakfast soda and some Medjools and load a few episodes up for your next long drive. History On.
