Jeff needs to be quiet
Fun podcast, love Susie, love getting the scoop, it’s fun. What’s not fun is Jeff constantly interrupting. I don’t know how Susie tolerates it. She must be the most Zen person ever (ironically, the opposite of her character). And he interrupts guests. He lacks self-awareness, to say the least. He says, “I interrupt because I’m curious.” No, you interrupt because you think what you have to say is the most important thing. (It’s not.) He’ll turn a conversation about a woman’s experience into his experience as a man. His ignorance about The Vagina Monologues, his tone deafness about how it’s harder for non-male comedians, are just two examples. Jeff, if you’re truly curious, try closing your mouth and listen. Maybe use a talking stick and only talk when you have the stick. Susie, give him the stick after you’ve finished your sentence.
Great Potential Content, But Garlin is Exhausting
It should be easy to create interesting and hilarious episodes b/c it’s about Curb. But, Jeff too often hijacks the conversation with tangential contributions that take it sideways.
By the way
Jeff won’t shut up and feels the need to begin every sentence with “By the way”. It’s unlistenable
