Excellent history podcast

I’m listening to this podcast now for the second time. Mike Duncan took this podcast in 2007 going to ‘Revolutions’ podcast plus the book ‘Storm Before the Storm’ with a hint of satire at times.

I don’t wish to spoil much, but Mike Duncan reminds me of one of my college history professors (Willard Randall Sterne who is also an author) that taught myself that history can be entertaining. It’s a podcast that lives up to it’s rating & as you see it is one of the top history podcasts out there. As an American, I’m noticing similarities between the United States & the Romans in both the good ways, plus the bad ways. I’ll tell one spoiler, President Trump is equal to the bad Roman Emperors. The rest you have to find out for yourself.

You can see a lot of stuff that was taken from the Roman Empire & sprinkled into the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’.

Fantastic show

The best bedtime story, but about Ancient Rome.

Awesome

This show is awesome. I’ve listened to near every one, and that takes some time! But it is so worth it!
